35 and over Softball


Looking for 35 and over adult softball?  White Oak has a league on Monday nights that start after July 4th.  Contact Matt Ernst if you're interested.

Players should contact their managers for information or cancellations (there is no make-ups).

RULES:

  1. Coin Toss will determine home team.
  2. Batter will start his at bat with no count. One foul ball allowed after two strikes.
  3. All games are played through seven innings.
  4. The umpire’s discretion will determine the start of the one pitch rule.
  5. All extra innings played will use the one pitch format.
  6. A team leading by fifteen runs must bat opposite handed.
  7. All bats to be used during the game must be placed inside the backstop for all players to use during the game.
  8. Any batted ball traveling between the lines on the mound will result in an automatic out and dead ball declared. Umpire’s judgment on this call.
  9. Both feet of pitcher must remain within the lines on the mound until ball is hit or give up safety lines on the mound for the entire game. Pitcher can declare before start of game his defensive intent of “safety zone.” 
  10. Pitch runner can be utilized at any time and must be last player to have recorded an out. Runner can be used out the box by starting at back stop behind umpire.
